The Fifth Annual Conference on Empirical Legal Studies will be held at Yale Law School. The conference will feature original empirical and experimental legal scholarship by leading scholars from a diverse range of fields.

The Conference on Empirical Legal Studies 2010 will be held in New Haven, Connecticut at Yale Law School from Friday November 5 through Saturday November 6, 2010. The conference is the annual conference of the Society for Empirical Legal Studies, an international organization whose members are interested in empirical and experimental research related to law. There will be multiple panel sessions throughout each day, and each paper presentation will be followed by discussion. In addition to the paper sessions, there will be a poster session and quantitative methods sessions.

The submission deadline for papers will be Friday July 2, 2010, and we expect to send out acceptance notices on September 1, 2010. As has been the case in the past, there will be a program to help defray the cost of attending for presenters travelling from schools without budgets to cover conference expenses. Applications will be taken in September 2010.
